What We Keep — Editorial Design as an Act of Collecting
Habe geschaut, was Menschen aufheben – und warum.
This publication grew out of the conviction that objects tell stories. That the cup someone reaches for every morning says something about habit and affection. That the table you eat at is a place of relationships. That collecting is not a quirk but a form of attention.
I asked myself who thinks the way I do. For whom everyday objects are more than things to use. I researched my own collection, went to the restaurant “mausi.”, talked to Marvie from “Studio Remi” and got in touch with my neighbours. I looked at what people keep – and why.
